This weekend was another busy one!
Friday night I went to an FAW. I got to see lots of Daddy and Mommy's friends from YPA. I had lots of smiles and stories to tell there.
Since the rain, rain won't go away, Papa can't work in the fields. So, I got to take a road trip to snuggle with Mama and Papa this weekend. Saturday, we met Mama & Papa (Mommy's mom & dad) in Minneapolis.
We met in the parking lot of a really big place called the Mall of America. After Mama covered me in kisses (and lipstick) and Papa snuggled with me, we went to Ikea and the MoA. There was so much to look at that I got worn out and took a little kitty nap in my stroller while Mommy and Mama shopped for me.

When I woke up, I discovered that Papa had shopped for me too. He had found me some plates with Lightning McQueen from Cars on them. He said they only had girly plates at their house, so they needed some boy plates for when I visit. That was so nice of Papa!
After shopping and lunch, we went to check in to our hotel. I got to talk with Mama and Papa and get some more snuggling in too! Then we went to people watch and have some snacks. Mama showed me all the fun things she got me. I got lots of clothes for summer and fall. I also got some frogs to play with in my bath. I can't wait! Thanks Mama!
After playing with Mama and Papa for a long time, it was time for me to get ready for bed. I had a bath, got my pj's on and had a bottle. I slept pretty good in the hotel but I woke up (like mommy thought) at 3:30am ready for a bottle and play time. I woke everyone else up too with my talking. I don't think they minded though!
On Sunday, we had a really yummy breakfast at the hotel and got to hang out, read books, snuggle and talk some more. Then we went back to the MoA to finish shopping. Once again, I saw too much cool stuff and fell asleep.
Then, it was time to go. After lots of hugs, kisses and tears, we said goodbye to Mama and Papa and headed for home. It was a fun, but fast visit. I better keep working on sitting up, holding my head up and story telling since we will see them in a few weeks. Love you Mama and Papa!

We stopped for a break at Albert Lea and Mommy bought me a book. She said it was my 1st Little Golden Book. This book had 3 stories in it...one with an orange little fish who got lost (Finding Nemo), a fast car who fixed up a town (Cars) and a rat who wanted to be a chef (Rataouille). Mommy read all three stories to me on the way home. I love stories!

Even though I had a busy weekend, I was still happy the next morning as we got ready for school and work.
That was this week's adventures! See you next time!
