Getting to be such a big boy!

Hi Everyone!

Aidan, the teeth-growing wonder boy, here!

Whew, I am just now coming down from the sugar high after my awesome 1st Birthday parties!

Mommy and Daddy even had me dive into a 3rd cake for pictures at a photo studio...sugar, sugar and more sugar! (Mommy has posted my One-year pictures for you to enjoy)!

I have been very busy lately. Not only am I crawling (and very quickly at that) all over the place, I am also getting lots and lots of teeth. I have 8 teeth, 1 molar and 2 more molars coming in. Yikes! It hurts but I try to be tough! I am enjoying mashing up all sorts of foods (and the occasional toy too). Mommy still cannot find a food that I don't like!

Fun news...After Daddy and Mommy bought me some snazzy new tennis shoes, I thought I better put them to good use. While my Mama and Papa Walkinshaw were visiting me last weekend, Mama made me work really hard at pulling myself up to stand and cruising around furniture. Mama finally helped me realize that I could pull myself up to standing using Emma's dog kennel. Eventually, I realized I could use less arms and more legs and was able to stand right up (holding on to the kennel for safety of course).

After that, I found I could stand up in my crib and once Mommy got home, I showed her I could walk all around my crib too. Mommy and Daddy always say that I am getting to be such a big boy! Recently, I also have figured out how to crawl up the stairs. Makes Daddy and Mommy very nervous!

I am also saying lots of new words now, but I don't think Mommy and Daddy understand most of them. But they did hear me say, 'Hi', 'Help' and 'Yeah Yeah'. Mommy thought I was saying 'Mom, Mom' all the time...but sadly, I say 'mum, mum' for milk. I am completely off the bottle and formula but still love my milk, warm or cold!

I can't think of anything else that I have been up to!
