Whew! My 1st Christmas was so exciting!
On December 18, I had Christmas party at daycare. All my daycare friends sang and danced (I watched and clapped for them). Santa even dropped in and had a present for ME…I must have been good this year!
Unfortunately all that holiday fun left me sick…again. I had pink eye in both eyes and a double ear infection…boo hoo! I looked like I had gotten in a fight. Fortunately, the medicines worked quickly and I was feeling better for our trip to North Dakota for Christmas.
My first Christmas was wonderful. We had Christmas eve with Mama and Papa and Uncle Jeffrey. We had a delicious supper and opened some presents. Later on my cousins, Kylie & Keira, and Auntie Jen and Uncle Mike came home and we opened more presents. I am a very lucky boy! I got some clothes, toys and books!
On Christmas Day, we got to go over to my Great-Grandparent's house. Great-Grandpa Everett and Great-Grandma Irene hosted the WHOLE family (as they do every year) with probably 45 people including 7 kiddos under age 6. I had so much fun meeting some of the family for the first time and playing with all my cousins. I also got to eat homemade ice cream and christmas cookies for the first time. I loved it!
For New Year’s weekend, we had Christmas on the Kramer side with Grandma and Grandpa Kramer, Great-Grandma Primmer, Great Uncle Scott, Uncle Chris, Aunt Tanya, and Cousins, Kinnick and Mason. We had a wonderful weekend with good food, fun play time and lots of snuggles.
Finally…the big news! On a quiet, unassuming Wednesday night (January 5), I found out THAT I CAN CRAWL!!!! Yeah! I started moving after this new train that one of Mommy’s friends passed down from another friend. It moves on its own…so I had to figure out how to do the same! Mommy was getting that train to move and then all of a sudden, my arms and legs started moving too. I am a crawler!!
Since then, I have found my way into the dog dish, the tv stand, the cookbooks on the bookshelf and even pinched my fingers in the kitchen drawers a few times. But I do love to be on the move!
Look out world, here I come!
Love you!
